Alumni Overview
SFI maintains a well-established alumni network. As of the 2024 cohort, the alumni count is over 3,000. About two-thirds work in China's financial centers: Shenzhen, Beijing, and Shanghai, with the remainder in other mainland locations or Hong Kong and Singapore.

For SFI alumni networking, we sponsor social media alumni groups to share career and event information.
Alumni can scan the nearby QR code to add the Alumni Affairs Assistant on WeChat to inquire about joining these WeChat groups.
For networking across the entire university, the "Shenxian Lake" mini program is available. Here, alumni can join a social ecosystem spanning all of CUHK-Shenzhen, including both alumni and current members of the university.

Alumni Association of School of Management and Economics & Shenzhen Finance Institute, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen
Comprising alumni from undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs of the School of Management and Economics and the Shenzhen Finance Institute, this association, anchored in the mission and vision of the School of Management and Economics, takes Shenzhen as its foothold while casting its eyes globally. It endeavors to furnish an alumni platform imbued with abundant resources, multiple opportunities and an international perspective for the alumni of the aforesaid School of Management and Economics and the Shenzhen Finance.
Alumni Card
A valuable resource, the alumni card provides many benefits, including:
- Access to campus facilities via card swipe.
- Access to the library using facial recognition through the alumni card photo.
- Participation in various alumni networking events.
- Discounted tickets for cultural and artistic activities organized by the University Art Center.
Mission
Although graduats leave the campus, they remain alumni forever and an integral part of the college community. The Alumni Affairs Office looks forward to staying connected with every graduate. Our mission is to contribute to our alumni success in the following ways:
- Strengthen communication and contact between alumni, the institute, and the school.
- Connect alumni resources and assist in alumni growth.
- Encourage and support the establishment and development of the alumni association.
