Biography

Qitian Ren earned his Ph.D. in Marketing from Columbia University in 2018. His research focus encompasses digital marketing, creator economy, platform economy, recommendation algorithms, industrial organization, competitive strategy, and behavioral economics. His work has been published in top-tier academic journals such as Journal of Marketing Research and Marketing Science. He also serves on the Editorial Board of Marketing Science (2024-). Dr. Ren received several prestigious teaching awards such as Presidential Exemplary Teaching Award and Shenzhen Excellent Teacher Award.
