Biography

Dr. Steve Wang, former Managing Director of BOCI(HK), is currently the Executive Vice President of the Hong Kong Institute of International Finance. Dr. Wang is mainly engaged in the investment and financing business of the bond capital market. He has more than 25 years of experience in capital market and securities research experiences in fixed income and equity. Prior to BOC International, he also worked at Citigroup (HK), Salomon Smith Barney (NY), and Merrill Lynch (NY). Before that, he was involved in academic research on the oceans and interactions with atmosphere at Columbia University and Duke University in the United States. Dr. Wang is currently also an adjunct senior researcher and lecturer at Renmin University of China.
