Forum Review | AI + Business Forum Concluded Successfully!

The “AI + Business Forum” hosted by the School of Management and Economics (SME), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) was successfully held on campus on February 13. The forum invited scholars from SME and industrial leaders, featuring three parallel sessions, with a focus on closely integrating the development of accounting, marketing, and information systems in the business field with artificial intelligence (AI). It demonstrated the specific application and development prospects of AI in diversified business fields with an aim to further explore more possibilities of AI-driven business innovation. The forum received wide attention and attracted more than 150 guests.

Professor Shou Biying of SME, CUHK-Shenzhen moderated the forum, and Professor Wang Yakun (Eric), Professor Ren Qitian, and Professor Chen Chen of SME, CUHK-Shenzhen moderated the first, second, and third parallel forums respectively.

Professor Zhang Bohui, Executive Dean of SME, CUHK-Shenzhen, delivered an opening speech. He mentioned that with the development of AI, all professional fields under SME have added AI-related courses. In the future, SME will continue to create majors and courses that are closely integrated with AI and strive to further optimize the major and course arrangement.
