SFI 2024 Full-time Master Graduates Employment Quality Report

In May 2025, Shenzhen Finance Institute (SFI), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), released the 2024 Employment Report for SFI Full-time Master Graduates. As the 8th batch of master graduates cultivated by SFI, 2024 graduates registered a high and stable employment rate with their solid expertise, rich practical experience, and forward-looking career planning in response to the complex and variable employment environments. Closely related to the national strategic emerging industries and key development areas and deep rooted in the core economic circles such as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the Yangtze River Delta, SFI graduates continue to demonstrate their excellent compound competitiveness in the job market by combining personal interests and the needs of the times.

A total of 571 SFI 2024 graduates, representing an increase of 18% over last year, came from six MSc programmes in finance, economics, accounting, marketing, information management and business analytics, and data science.

The overall employment rate registered 98.2%, of which 91.6% chose to work upon graduation in finance, technology and the Internet, and industry/comprehensive enterprises with an average annual salary of RMB 279,000 and a maximum salary of up to RMB 700,000. 4.7% chose to further their studies, of which 21 will pursue PhD programs in well-known universities at home and abroad.
