The Paper by Professor Zhang Jinfan and PhD Student Zhang Yuzhe Won the China Financial Research Network (CFRN) Young Scholar Best Paper Award in Chinese

Days ago, Indirect Equity Financing and Underweight of Listed Firms in China: A Study on Convertible Bond Issuance, a paper co-authored by Zhang Jinfan, a professor from the School of Management and Economics (SME), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), and Zhang Yuzhe, a student in MPhil-PhD in Finance from SME, CUHK-Shenzhen, was awarded the China Financial Research Network (CFRN) Young Scholar Best Paper Award in Chinese.

It is reported that the China Financial Research Conference (CFRC), jointly initiated and organized by Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance (Tsinghua PBCSF) and Tsinghua University National Institute of Financial Research, has been successfully held for ten years (2016-2025). CFRC aims to encourage in-depth research and discussion on financial issues in China, accelerate the application of the latest research findings in China’s financial reform and development practices, advance the construction of a modern financial system in China, and promote financial innovation. After ten years of continuous development, CFRC has become one of the highest-level financial events in China.
