Professor Jiang Zhengrui (Jeffrey) of SME, CUHK-Shenzhen Appointed as Senior Editor of Information Systems Research (ISR)
Days ago, at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) held in Nashville, Tennessee, the top international journal in information systems, Information Systems Research (ISR), officially announced the new list of Senior Editors. Professor Jiang Zhengrui (Jeffrey) from the School of Management and Economics (SME), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), was appointed to this position due to his outstanding academic achievements and distinguished editorial experience.
As one of the world’s most influential top academic journals in information systems, Senior Editors of ISR play a key role as decision-makers in the paper review process, directly controlling the journal’s academic direction and content quality. This appointment signifies high recognition from the international academic community for Professor Jiang’s academic attainments and professional contributions.
The selection for ISR Senior Editors is extremely rigorous, usually involving a comprehensive evaluation by the Editor-in-Chief (EIC) based on a scholar’s academic contributions and performance as an Associate Editor. Professor Jiang has served as an Associate Editor for ISR for eight consecutive years since January 2018. During his tenure, with a rigorous academic attitude and excellent professional judgment, he received the Outstanding Associate Editor Award from the journal. This long-term commitment and outstanding service record laid a solid foundation for his promotion to Senior Editor.
