The 3rd CUHKSZ-PHBS Economics and Finance Workshop Was Held Successfully
On November 12, the 3rd CUHKSZ-PHBS Economics and Finance Workshop was successfully held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen). This year's workshop was co-organized by the School of Management and Economics (SME) of CUHK-Shenzhen, Peking University HSBC Business School and Shenzhen Finance Institute, and experts and scholars from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Peking University HSBC Business School, George Mason University, Purdue University, Wuhan University, Nankai University, Renmin University of China, Nanjing University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and The Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics, Xiamen University conducted In-depth discussions.
This forum regularly holds twice a year, aiming to stimulate the research potentials of scholars and promote cutting-edge academic research work in the economic and financial fields in Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, as well as to promote academic exchanges and cooperation between SME, CUHK-Shenzhen and Peking University HSBC Business School, and to strengthen the ties and interactions between faculty and students from both sides.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Wang Jian, Associate Director of Shenzhen Finance Institute, CUHK-Shenzhen and Professor Wang Pengfei, Dean of the HSBC Business School of Peking University, delivered welcome speeches on behalf of the organizers respectively. After intense academic discussions, the participants visited the campus of CUHK-Shenzhen together.
