| 摘要: | Cryptocurrencies, enabled by blockchain technology, have given rise to vast new financial markets that are often disruptive and highly volatile. In this presentation, we explore how the underlying blockchain infrastructure influences the stability and behavior of cryptocurrency markets. Through a series of three studies, we analyze key technical features of two major blockchains—Bitcoin and Ethereum—and explore their roles in shaping the market dynamics of two critical sectors: the transaction fee market and the cryptocurrency exchange market. We conceptualize the market behavior through the lens of economic and operational theories and evaluate our hypotheses using large-scale data collected from public blockchains. The presentation will discuss findings from three studies, ongoing work, and promising directions for future research at the intersection of blockchain infrastructure and financial markets. |
| 主讲人简介: | 范绍坤教授是俄勒冈州立大学商学院的商业分析副教授。他于2012年在美国亚利桑那大学埃勒商学院获得管理信息系统博士学位。他分别获得南京大学物理学学士学位和计算机科学硕士学位。他的研究兴趣包括数据挖掘、区块链和社会媒体。具体而言，他致力于开发新型数据挖掘方法，通过分析区块链及社交媒体平台的大数据辅助企业优化商业决策。他的研究成果发表在MIS Quarterly、INFORMS Journal on Computing、Research Policy、Decision Sciences、Decision Support Systems、Information and Management、Electronic Commerce Research等期刊上。他目前担任Electronic Commerce Research、Decision Support Systems和Journal of Electronic Commerce Research的副编辑。他曾多次获得俄勒冈州立大学商学院的奖项，包括2017年、2020年和2021年获得的全院研究奖——Prominent Scholar Award，以及2019年获得的Betty and Forrest Simmons Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award。 |
