Position Overview

We are seeking a technically proficient Tutor (TA) to join our MSc in Finance program. This position will support a range of advanced finance courses, including FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Blockchain, Stochastic Models, and Derivatives. The candidate must possess strong programming and mathematical skills to effectively assist in course instruction and student learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist professors in preparing and organizing course materials, especially courses related with programming and mathematics in Finance.

• Provide guidance and support to students in programming (Python, R, VBA, etc.) and mathematical concepts.

• Participate in course teaching activities, including conducting tutorial, answering queries, grading assignments, and evaluating exams.

• Assist in designing and developing course projects, particularly in areas such as FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain & Big Data.

• Support professors in academic research, data analysis, and literature reviews.

• Serve as a Career & Academic Adviser, providing career guidance and academic support to students. Handle student affairs, addressing their concerns and assisting with administrative tasks.

• Participate in the admissions process, including preparing exam papers and serving as an interviewer.

Requirements

• Education: Master's degree or higher in Data Science, Econometrics, Financial Mathematics, or related fields, high GPA is a plus.

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, VBA, and relevant project experience.

• Mathematical Ability: Strong mathematical foundation with a deep understanding of Stochastic Models/Derivatives/Machine Learning.

• Teaching Experience: Prior experience as a teaching assistant or in related teaching roles is preferred.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to interact effectively with students and professors.

• Language Skills: Proficiency in English, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. IELTS 7.0+ & TOEFL 95+ is a plus.

Responsibilities:

A. Teaching Assistance

Provide support to course instructors, including preparation of teaching materials, handling course-related tasks, and arranging logistics as needed.

Conduct tutorials and lab sessions for courses as required.

Offer student consultation and supervision, and coordinate student academic activities.

B. Admission Support

Participate in admission activities and support the needs of our admission fairs, sometimes may held on weekends.

Assist with other admission-related activities as necessary.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Sciences.

Strong communication skills with a passion for mentoring students.

Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English.

Ability to work independently, demonstrate team spirit, and be willing to take on additional responsibilities when requested.

Patient and meticulous personality.

Related work experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.

One or more years of experience with programming languages such as Python, MySQL, Java, C++, or R.

Experience in data processing, visualization, and analytics.

岗位职责：

1、负责班级及学生管理，包括学生的课前课中课后的行政管理及教务事务，对学生学习情况进行跟踪和记录；

2、了解并熟识课程设置，协助教授完成教学工作；跟进课程，并与教授、学生保持密切的沟通，收集反馈意见，及时提出课程改进建议；

3、负责处理大学教务教学系统的等相关事务；

4、负责建设与发展班级文化，创建学生交流与分享的平台，组织与协调高质量的活动；

5、协助招生并积极参与招生的相关推广活动；

6、部门内的其它行政事务的处理工作；

7、可以接受周末工作，可调休。

任职要求：

1. 金融经济管理等专业硕士及以上学位（有海外教育背景者优先），工作经验3年及以上； 

2. 流利的英语口语和英文写作能力，熟悉微软办公软件（Word,Excel,PowerPoint等）。

3. 品貌端正，普通话标准，具有较强的亲和力； 

4. 良好的沟通能力，责任心强，有耐心，良好的团队合作意识 ；

5. 有高校教育管理经验者优先。

工作职责：

1． 采访及文稿撰写、编辑、美工及排版。协助进行自媒体运营。

2． 辅助研究院活动执行工作。

3． 其他事务性工作。

任职要求：

1． 本科及以上学历，新闻、中文、新媒体等传播类专业优先。熟练掌握PS，有自媒体运营经验优先。

2． 工作认真细致，有良好的沟通能力及合作精神。

3． 实习期至少三个月，能全职实习的申请者优先。
